The classic Opel Manta A from the early seventies was in production from 1970 to 1975. It was a German-made rivalry for the Ford Capri and other coupé cars. This model was the first generation model of Manta. In the UK markets, this first Manta was sold only as an Opel without a Vauxhall badge. It was one of only a few Opel models sold in the U.S. too.
